But, I did try something tonight before I got to this message that sorta worked, and am going to do it again tomorrow with something else. If that works, I will get back to the list.

re; food - I put down 4 dishes with a heaping tablespoon of wet food in the AM. One cat won't eat wet food (the one that drinks from the faucet, LOL) - the other 3 will - but they start at one end of the dishes and have to eat out of each other's dish, so they take a bite of one and then move to the next. Oh, ya gotta love 'em.

Discovered this morning as I was getting dressed that one of them had peed in my shoe (now, that's an experience!) - I wear crocs, so it was not a problem to pull the liner and wash it.

Peeing outside of their proper spot is usually a cat trying to tell you something. They are either stressed or perhaps an infection, in which case MMS or CDS may take care of it. Problem: Which one is the culprit!

If it is a stress problem that can probably be handled via Bach Flower Remedies. Cats don't like it but you only need to give it to the guilty party. If you think this is the problem, let me know. I have to work today so won't be able to check back until tonight. I have some Bach remedy books for animals and can look up and see what can be done.

Just had another thought, have you tried spraying the MMS or CDS on their paws, heavy, so they might lick it off? I do it with hairball med. so why not try with other stuff?

I can spray on paws - would do that with the CDS, probably. Good idea!

I have 2 that have been peeing outside the litter for ages. One pees in my bathroom sink. (Which annoys the one that prefers to drink there <sigh>. Thank goodness I have 2 sinks in that bathroom.) I hope the MMS will work. I'm going to try it with baby food. Right now I'm doing 1x a day, about to start 2x a day, then 3x a day. Hopefully by then, they'll be healed, if it's an infection, but who knows. I guess I should take them to the vet.

Okay, here we go.

This is from a book called Bach Flower Remedies for Cats by Martin J. Scott and Gael Mariani.

1. Do not clean soiled area with anything ammonia as this tends to attract cats. Also do not use bleach as this also attracts cats. Try using white cider vinegar and water in a 50/50 ratio.
2. You can also try feeding kitty there after you have cleaned it up. They don’t like to eat where they pee.
3. Impatiens, Agrimony and White Chestnut: To help reduce stress generally.
4. Chestnut Bud and Rock Water: To help encourage the cat to learn.
5. Impatiens, Agrimony and Walnut make a good combination. At this point, not knowing the behavior of your kitty I would probably use this combination.
6. Is there a new addition to the cat population? Does kitty seem tense, worried, or cool and lazy? Is kitty stressed and being dominated by another cat? Or vice versa? By determining the behavior you can get more specific with the remedy.
7. Homeopathy is a strange duck as there is no one remedy for the same problem. As a rule it is determined by personality. I can attest to that as I use homeopathy.
8. Often when a cat pees on something that belongs and smells like its owner there is an infection and this is their way of saying help.
9. Unfortunately, a trip to the vet and a urine sample answers that question.


A health food store that sells these remedies hopefully would have a “store copy” of the book to help you decide as there is much more information on each remedy, depending on the past history of kitty and current living situations. If not and you desire more specific info on a remedy let me know as it will take a little time to type it out.


Making up dosage:

1. Make up a dose bottle. (1 oz, 30 ml, or so) 1 small brown or dark spray bottle will work nicely.
2. If you are going to give internally use water, if using externally you can use alcohol, not rubbing alcohol!
3. If using water you will need to refrigerate it. It will only be good for 5 days.
4. If using alcohol you do not need to refrigerate it and you are good to go. It will last a very long time.
5. Use about 2-3 drops each remedy. Do not exceed more than 5 different remedies!
6. Add alcohol. (Brandy is nice )
7. Shake well.
8. Label bottle so you know what is in it. If you don’t use all of it and if it is in alcohol you can use it at a later date if necessary.

Application:
1. If internal is given use 4 drops 4 times a day or 8 drops two times daily.
2. More frequently throughout the day is better if you can.
3. Externally you can spray kitty lightly! Just don’t frighten her. Mist the air around her so it lands on her. It apparently will work just as well!
4. There is another spot. An acu-point on top her head between the ears. It is an energy point. Same spot for dogs and horses as well. Apparently, research has shown that a few drops on this spot works very well! It is at the top of the head and halfway between the ears. You can apply this and gently massage it in during cuddling times.
5. These remedies are very subtle. Gentle. You will not OD. However, they do require time to work. You need to be consistent with the giving of the remedy. Hit and miss will not work.
6. You will need to give kitty 2-3 weeks at least. Hopefully there will be some improvement well before that!
7. I would suggest the CDS or MMS in case of infection or sickness as this will cause kitty to misbehave as well.

Hard to describe this cat. She was the 3rd into the house, very people affectionate until she figured out that Ivan was top cat, and from that point on all she wanted was to do and be Ivan, LOL. For a long time I thought she was the smartest of the cats. Her mom was feral, and I got her from the vets at about 8 weeks. They were all trained and everything was fine until I moved up here in the fall of 2008, and they were OK in the trailer, and OK when we first moved into the big house. But I do think there was stress with building going on around her. That was the point, Fall of 2010, that she lost it, and hasn't really gotten it back. Oh well, I'll figure it out.

Hi there everyone, we made bella a broth with chicken carrots and leeks, which bella loved for a day or two, then it got to the stage where she wasn't eating it at all, so i had to go back to a half drop dose with a syringe every hour which went well till this morning when bella was sick and had diarrhea, so all mms has been stopped so far today, we all went for walk this morning when we noticed blood in bellas urine, last night i started protocol 3000 and will continue it today...
really worried about bella today.. and confused with what's the best food to be feeding her, what protocol to follow...
Can someone shed some light or have experience in the same situation...

Just pop in for a quick visit, have to work this AM. Will give continued thought. This, unfortunately, does not sound good. She may however have a urine infection and that will cause her to bleed and not eat. Why she would get one on MMS is not known by me. Will get back to you this afternoon. Hopefully somebody with more knowledge will read this thread and be able to answer. So xorry, but hang in there, the battle may not be lost yet! There is still opportunity to win!

Also, hourly dose may be much to close together. Once the diarrhea stops try every 2 or 3 hours instead. Keep her meals small as she will be eating frequently! My Lady likes carrots but got tired of them in her food. Use oatmeal and rice (I basically used 3 cups oatmeal to 1 cup rice) as a base. Add shredded carrots, finely minced any thing else like garlic, celery, mushrooms, a little bit of spinach, or kale, cabbage, green beans, peas or anything else you might have on hand . This must be cooked real real well! Dogs do not digest vegies like we can they must be very well cooked. I also added tumeric while cooking as this helps with some cancers. I make this up in a large pot and set in fridge for the week or so when it is gone. I mixed it with turkey (raw ground turkey) as these birds do not tolerate chemicals well their meat is purer than chicken. I also used a qualitly canned dog foor, pate in texture, to help keep her interest and appetite up. Remember, keep the meals small and about 2 hours apart. Not closer! Often Lady's meals would be 3 hours apart. Pending on my schedule and if she is active enough. She actually would get restless and be looking to eat when she was ready.

I looked more on the remedies and from what you said, if she is not acting up for spite, I would go with a combination of : Rock Water (Not Rock Rose), Impatiens, Agrimony and Walnut. I would think that would cover the bases for her. Put 2-3 drops of each remedy in a dose bottle with either distilled water or drinking type alcohol. Your choice as mentioned earlier. Remember if you chose the water it must be refrigerated and will last only 5 days.

Hopefully, this will help her. Give her time. Emotions don't heal overnight especially if this has been going on for a long time.
