Anyone tried mixing DMSO and cayenne for bruises?

I "pulled a good one" Thurs. night... while doing some renovations. Long story short, I stepped through a rotted place in a mobile home floor with my right leg; and, came down really hard on my left knee. (About a year ago, I went around on it for close to 3 months with it semi-dislocated - a fact I discovered when it suddenly decided to go back into place! ) I was thinking of trying some DMSO on it last night; but, got preoccupied on the computer, instead.) I bought some cayenne this evening while I was in town, to use for something else; and, got to thinking that it might be a good idea to try mixing them; since, cayenne = capsasin. Has anyone tried this already? If so, how did it work out for you?

cayenne and DMSO sounds intense...

I didn't find much info.; so, I just went with the DMSO alone. It healed the knee up within about 24 hours. Most of the pain was gone almost immediately; but, a little of it came back the next day. The 2nd application finished up what the 1st one started.
