Should I dilute hydrochloride acid to 5%?
And then add 1 drop hydrochloride acid 5% to 1 drop of my Sodium Chlorite 23%.

Use 4% HCL, that is the correct percentage, NOT 5%.
Add 11ml of 35% HCL to 89ml of water to get 100ml of 4% HCL,

Hi CLO2, Right now I am waiting for HCI. I got my Sodium Chlorite 23% and last night I mixed 1 drop to 5 drops of lime juice. MY question is on the waiting time to mix this with water?
I waited 3 minutes because that is what I had read, But I wanted to confirm this.
By the way thank you so much for your help.
I am so thankful.
Best Regards
Tom

Yes, 3 minutes "activation" time. Most of the activation should happen in stomach acid.

Even though 4% HCL is the correct HCL concentration, you can use 5% HCL and 25% SCS to make CDS.

Yes, you can use 5% HCL to make MMS1 as well as CDS, although it is easy to dilute 5% down to 4%, which is what you should do if making CDH.
