Making sodium chlorite at home was created by Dan6989
With the three main ingredients being sodium chlorite, hydrochloric acid, and distilled water, obtaining the sodium chlorite is the most difficult at stores. That is how it is in my part of the world anyway. I discovered a way to make it at home at this website.

It involves table salt, two pencils, card board, and a 9 volt battery, among other materials. I plan on attempting it this coming weekend, using a 12 volt battery. I am curious if anyone else has tried this? Thanks.

I recall reading in the past that that method does not make NaCLO2.

If that is the case, the info at that link I posted is disinformation. I am going to look into it some more. Maybe I'll try it this weekend.
